Flowmaster 44s
I was talked out of Performance Cats. Also, I'm bummed that I couldn't get the Noweeds Cut-outs installed. Because of the transmission cross member, it didn't allow for room for plumbing the exhaust pipe properly to work with the cut-outs. So, if anybody is looking for a Noweeds Cut-outs for the first generation Camaro, let me know.

Oh Momma!!!!!!!
I know Beth is looking for that NoWeeds system....Im pretty sure with some talented welding, it would work with the 5th gen. Man....great progress. Love seeing it come to life. Now....if I can broker a deal with ZZ, the stars and Moon will come together in a creation of awesomeness and most likely create a space void vaccuum or Black Hole. Then we can all be happy driving 1st Gens! Looking great brother! Ivan |

cjingle, your car has come a long way in one year since your thread started. When do you get to drive it and test out the Hotchkis suspension? It looks like it should be soon!

Alot of hot rod and racer folks at Car Crafters recommended the Flowmasters. As such, I took their advice. Thanks.

In fact, Jim Guthrie became a dealer for the local Albuquerque area in hopes to get more Camaro folks to take a look as a potential option.

We had to swap out the intake manifold to deal with the lean firing in the front and back cylinders.
Talking with experts (including folks at Yearwoods), we were told that the FAST fuel injection system needs to have an open chamber intake manifold. The manifold we had is for carbs. As such, we went with the Edlebrock Torker II manifold. It should be in the car tomorrow and hopefully running. Also, I'm hoping to get the body panels buttoned up early next week, the last of the parts painted and installed, the glass put back in. The interior should be wrapped up this week. Then, the details, including all of the molding, accents, etc. I want to get a clear bra put on front and sides (1/2 way down) before I drive it around. The last thing will be the audio and security systems that Innovative Audio will install. We should have it all finished, hopefully, mid-Sept. It'll be drivable before that.
