187, I believe you brother. I dont think your run is fake at all but I am just trying to figure out when you got your tune. Plus who would fluke a 13.7 run anyway right I think you should have done alot better than 13.7 to be honest with you, and especially with 2.00 60'?? I am curious to know how your fuel trim is holding up with your intake and what AFR and ignition timing you are running. If what im thinking is correct, I think you might be running the older timing but I did make my run with tuned vararam so who knows.
This is a little off topic, but the Shell station not far from my office just started selling E85. I'm thinking about getting a tune for the Cruze to see what she'll fill like on the corn syrup.

Is anyone on here using the Vararam CAI? They are guaranteeing 3 tenths and 3mph off stock, with gains of 25-30hp. ...they've got my attention.

Yes several of us are using the Vararam, including myself. It is a noticeable difference over stock, but exactly how much we don't know for sure yet (actualy, I had an AirRaid before the VR, and the VR feels like an improvement over that...moreso at certain speeds/RPMs than others).

The VR was debuted in the heat of the summer, and because of that there really aren't any great 1/4 mile times coming from VR owners yet unless you count the 13.5 from bmorecam, but he was also running the E85 tune.

What we do have are a couple owners who have ran in temps that were hotter than when they ran their car with the stock intake and ran times equal or slightly better. The LLT hates hot air temps, so that to me says very good things about the VR.

We should know more come this fall.

Look, he wasn't exactly fessing up to the e85 tune in his posts(maybe a little miscommunication). Without it he'd be a 14-sec car with the da he was running in. The e85 is better than most other mods combined, right now.

I'm just assuming the guy was being honest so therefore giving him some air to breath but who cares anyway? I just don't see why someone would go the length to fabricate a 13.7 run which in reality is nothing to sneeze at(no pun intended), but like u said the guy is not clear and confirming so i dont give a rats arse either way.

I agree on the hype and claims...I'll never sit here and say I have the best intake bar none because I just don't know that.

What I do know is that I'm very happy with mine thus far and glad to have switched from the AirRaid. Car just feels a bit stronger throughout.

Like i said i didn't realize i had to put e85 sense that is part of my tune from trifecta every other post i saw said just tune.... Anyway there is a hurricane off the shore of Florida right now so until the rain goes away no track for me... Also I just purchase my nitrous setup from a vendor on here so when that's installed i well run again!

Also e85 still puts me in the bolt-on category right?

We're good. I can see why there was a miscommunication. You were just the second on here as far as I know to jump on the e85 tune. I haven't decided it's the way for me, yet. I am getting closer.

On the nitrous side of things. The jet suggestions in whatever kit you'll be running are not for e85. By that, I mean the fuel jet will have to be increased much the same as Vince had to increase the fuel to compensate for the e85. My suggestion is to either talk to the kit manufacturer or see if Vince has any suggestions. You may do some google searches also to give you an idea.

I don't set the categories, but e85 is a fuel. I would think it would be much the same result as if we decided to run race fuel and have Vince customize a tune for it. I think it shouldn't affect bolt-on status.

Careful running E85 with spray, make sure you do your research.
