unlikely..me and becky recieved info at different times from different people saying that the car was headed to new boston michigan ( unlikely they would know exactly where it was headed- they cant even get their names straight at gm customer service sometimes..). Plus becky checked with her area sales manager and he is showing 4200 on my car.

i was told a couple weekends ago the tracking dept isnt in on the weekends.

Well yeah the Tracking dept isn't open on weekends, but what I meant by exact location is if wether its shipped or not. I hate the fact that their closed today! Can't get a tracking number till Monday :(. But i'm glad I got update today and not yesterday

. It was update on the 26th but received an email from GM today!

Checked on: 08/27/2011

Pretty much explains it.
Before I got an email update I checked at 5 AM local time but it was still at 4B00. Update was received at 8 AM

So in lieu of actually having my vehicle I went and visited a local dealership this afternoon that had a selection of 2012 camaros on the lot, including a convertible SS. I like the new dashboard, and I actually like the new steering wheel -- the cruise and audio controls are probably more ergonomic being flat vs on an angle inwards towards the center of the weel (the 2010/11 steering wheel spokes were much more sloped). I also checked out the midnight silver wheels close up and a few other things. I think I am going to *really* like this car.... If it ever arrives...
