How to protect airbrushing on hood insulator - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm looking for ideas to best protect the airbrushing done on my hood insulator. I'm thinking of Scotch Guarding it since it is like a fabric or using rattle can clear coat.

Thoughts?

Looks great, how much did that set you back?

Do not use clear coat paint it will show cracking after awhile. Use a water repellent fabric spray.

Thanks, it cost $300 plus I bought a new hood ins which is $24, I got hooked up on the work so I need to have more done down the road.
