its not hard, just a pain to remove tire and get the old washer bottle out, at least with the lond tube system.-- In which i have one ill sell as im trading in my 2010 R.S V6.-- A good garage would have it done in no more than say ?? 65 min

The short ram is even easier than the long tube. Which one did you get?

The long tube is not difficult if you have the correct tools. Make sure you have a metric socket set and you should be just fine, it's really not difficult except for getting the washer bottle off the car. If I had a metric socket set, I would have been done in no more than 2 hours, probably less. I didn't use a jack or a lift either, and left the wheel on.

The only confusing part was the wire extension, I had a hard time figuring out which wires I was try to unwrap the electrical tape from.

Don't pay someone to install the injen. Took me almost 20 minutes from start to finish. Don't worry you can't mess anything up. So install it yourself and save for future mods

No way you installed the long tube in 20 mins.. lol

But I agree, don't pay anyone to install. It should come with instructions and be pretty easy (30 mins for the short, at least a few hours for the long tube from what I've seen and read.)

When I was pulling quotes for a CAI, people were offering free instillation to get my business. Shop around, if you buy from a shop, you could get away for paying close to internet costs installed and out the door. Good luck!

Install in less than 90 minutes taking your time. Basic tools required. INJEN supplies a GREAT set of instructions. Just do it yourself.

Find a Chevy dealer you trust and have them install it. It should be about 1-1.5 hr shop time.
