yeah so sorry i love my V6 AND ITS A MUSCLE CAR DEAL WITH IT. I could easely bash on the 8 you know what i will. V8's are weak in the camaro and unimpressive YEAH I SAID IT. 426 break horse power? You want to impress me pump out 500+ horse power from a V8 STOCK. 312 from A V6 IS IMPRESSIVE. 90% of so called "muscle" cars from the past witch had big block V8's could barely get above 280 . PER CUBIC INCH 217 there is more then 95 HP per cubic inch. NOT TO MENTION the V6 is 100 to 200 pounds LIGHTER faster take off better handleing not some hunk of steel whiping around. The V6 is far more advanced then the V8 and FAR more impressive for what it can do and its high horse power ratio.

You can bash the V6 all you wish but please DON'T cause i am SICK OF THIS CRAP . I will not be insulted for owning a V6 people always say "Nightfall why you so quick to defend the V6". THIS IS WHY

*edit* V8 has 376 CI it has 50!!!! HP PER CUBIC INCH <.< yeah 45!!!!!!! more HP per cubic inch so WITCH IS THE MORE POWERFUL MOTOR AGAIN? its not the amount of Cylinder's you have ITS WHAT YOU DO WITH THEM NOT A MUSCLE CAR MY A$$

To stay on topic of the question.

I have a lot of love for the camaro, all styling, trims and especially the power level I own a '92 V6 (manual) and a 2010 SS (LS3)

Did he actually just say the V6 takes off faster and handles better than the SS? You are very easily offended...... If u like you V6, then great, good for you. Please dont start making up stuff....

not knocking middle-aged women, but not only do i know several who own camaros, but also know several who really like them. for whatever reason, the 40-50ish year-old women community really seem to dig the camaro. and i think the majority of those women that do buy one go for an auto, v6, and possibly even convertible.

You ARE fully aware that the V6 Auto is faster than the old 350s in the original 60s-80s model Camaros, right?

See here: http://www.zeroto60times.com/Chevrol...mph-Times.html

You shouldn't start this BS in here.

lol so i got a 1LT/RS automatic (made my name before i made my purchase lol). my neighbor has a 2SS/RS automatic. the light turned green and i smoked the v8 in my v6. so this v6/v8 talk is a bunch of crap. mess up on a race and a vespa scooter will beat you. i was gonna get the ss but decided i need extra funds to have fun with so i got the 6 and I LOVE IT. 2nd race when neighbor realized the v6 was no joke, he won by like half a car length till about 70-80 when we stopped. guess what v6/v8 is the same car minus a verrrryyyy small difference in actual power. stock for stock when you barely win it might aswell be the same car. a few bolt ons and i would win the race. v6/v8 is such a small difference you guys are a joke who act like you will smoke the v6 by 10 car lengths or that its such a huge difference. and i only wanted the v8 for the sound not the extra half a car length i could beat a stock v6 by. so i saved 10 grand and ditched the v8 sound. the neighbor was BLOWN away by the v6's power and even muttered "f&ck i coulda saved a ton of cash and got the same f'n car". all races are on a closed course for the sticklers. i may still trade in one day but it would only be for the v8 sound, not for the tiny performance increase. and at the end of the day my v6 looks the same as the v8's which is all i wanted
