I am hoping I can do the ALL Camaro Show...sounds fun...my schedule is never firm up until the week or two prior.

I think I'm free for Sep 10th for the Kmart show. And I'm going to go to the Oct 22 Camaro show also. I've been telling people about this site and the Oct 22 show while I'm driving around in my UPS truck. Tomorrow is gathering at the grounds, but since its supose to be on its going to rain.

Ok guys great to see everyone getting together on septembe 10
the kmart show dont start till 9:30 so im thinking we meet at Theisens parking lot at 9:00am and then we all cruise in to kmart show then after few hours maybe all cruise out to Watkins because that one dont start till 11:00am let me know your ideas we can also met up with RJBJFire at watkins show

One other thing im working on getting decals that will say Camaro5-Iowa
so if anyone has ideas on this let me know also

Hey Iowa guys...I know we all love Camaros here, but I have been thinking that it may be fun to start a club for the Modern Muscle Cars that are all around us right now that will allow us all to get together and experience the sights and sounds of these great cars. The Challengers, the Chargers, the Mustangs, and Corvettes...does anyone else think it would be fun to put together some cruises as a group and maybe do a lunch somewhere, a leaf run this fall, or just a random get together? We are living in a time of unrivaled performance with some truly great cars. Am I alone in thinking it would be fun to get us all together and form some sort of informal club that will meet for shows or cruises?

Sounds like a good idea. An organized club for modern cars, all makes and models.

I like it!!!! i love my car but like a lot of others!!

I have to work the 10th till noon. So may have to miss the K-Mart west show. May take a cruise out to Watkins to see whats going on. What are the hours for both shows?

I have also posted something under Mid Iowa Camaro Club and have gotten a couple responses to it so I am going to add their information to our list. Incase no one noticed there is an email address I have set up just for this carshow of camaroshow@mediacombb.net.

FYI, I called one of the ladies who is running the KMART show and she was telling me that there will be trophies that will be given out to some cars out there that day, but the judging won't start till like 1pm. Just incase anyone wanted to stick around and win a trophey. My dad has a challenger that he will be bringing to the car show so he may tag along. I can tell him that he can follow the rest of us camaro people to the Kmart show so nobody has the wrong idea that the challenger leads the way.
