I think it was a combination of sintered bronze blocking rings and main shaft end play. I think more so on the blocking rings than anything else.

You have to remember that these transmissions are mass produced units and IMHO they chose wrong type of friction material on the blocking rings. All the T56 preceeding the TR6060 used carbon blocking rings (earlier units used paper blockers). Yes, that is not a typo, they used paper for friction material.

I should have another build with the shaft and the rear support bearing. I'll post some pics when I get that build.

Just a little update. The trans should be well broken in and I should have the results of high RPM shifting shortly.
