I'll go to milford if the Dayton folks will drive that far. I just thought WC was in the middle and also offered the opportunity to prime space to have some future cruise ins. I just want enough of us to get together to finalize some of this TSGMP stuff so we can move it forward in the off season.

Thats why I dont like to make decisions like this. I want to do whatevers going to get the most people there. I can tell you if its after 7:30 in WC (or meet earlier but eat at 8 or something) or after 8:30 at BC or Milford, Me and Jess are in. If the Dayton folks will go to milford, then we'll have the most people at milford. If they wont, lets meet at WC because we'll get the most people there. So dayton people speak up. If we do WC i thought we'd do champs, BW3, Fridays, Cavanaughs or Brazenhead because they all have large enough lots to have cruise ins in the future. Champs probably has the largest because its right next to SOS so we could overflow into rave and SOS parking probably over time, although bheads close? I called a few places and they said if you have a big group to wait until after 8.

so I guess in closing, if you dayton folks don't want to go to Milford, we'll have our own cruise in Champs off UC in the front of SOS at 7:30 and plan on going in about 8. If you do want to go to milford, can we push back dinner?

I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

For Saturday, I want to get by Hubert at least to spectate. I can't stay long due to family in town and turns out that's my wife's b'day. She didn't seem to like the idea of going to a car show as her present. If anyone's there I'll be sure to say hi.

BumblebeeAmigo, I may be out for the rest of the racing season. My windshield has a huge crack in it and may not pass tech. They pointed out the chip last time. I don't know when I'll have the opportunity to get it replaced. But it's not too hard to persuade me to go racing.

As far as Friday goes...

I'm not trying to persuade anyone to come to Milford, that's just where I will be. If you guys meet at WC, that's cool. We have dogs and shit that need attended to. Staying out late very often after work is tough.

Whatever you guys decide is cool with me. Same with the site. I'm good with whatever.

Total randomness...

Changed my diff fluid... again... today for my track day next week.

What a huge PITA!!! Plus I put my head in a puddle of fluid :( at least it was new fluid not old.

I added the LS additive this time and Mobil 1 fluid. Still moans a tad but the posi works just fine.

I figure WC is more centrally located for everyone. I don't know. Whatever works.

Dude, ever since the "failure" it has whined and moaned a lot. It works fine and stands up to all my abuse. I am just waiting for it to fail again so I can send it to Janetty and get the upgrade and the 3.91 LPE gears. I already called on it.

If it never fails, awesome. If it does, I wont be too disappointed. Plus I will need t get it fixed so I will just make it better.

So that doesn't count as mod - it counts as a repair.

Thats why I have to wait for it to fail! Which it very well may never. Ted said with all the bushings and stuff I have, noise is not uncommon, esp if the gears have been out.

So I was walking to the park near our house with a few of the kids. There's a Mustang owner (maybe around a 2008) about 10 houses down the street. As we got close, the Mustang backs out of the driveway and takes off rather quickly. My daughter Lily says "our Camaro is faster and revs better!"

Then coming back from the park we pass a house a few streets over that has a Mustang in the garage. The owner has the hood up and is working on it. Lily says about this one "What? is he always working on it?"

I think she picks that stuff up from her mother.

Mine moaned a lot after all the suspension stuff last year. Mostly while turning sharp radii in parking lots. Sounded like rubbing tires but learned it was rear end. Yeah the stiff bushings will transfer more noises, lots of threads on here about that complaint. Also got louder after a trip to the drag strip in the Spring. Cincy changed my fluid again and used the LS additive. I haven't noticed much differential noise since then, but with the cam and headers I wouldn't hear it if it were there.
Tracey also torqued those end links real good and they aren't snapping like they were.

I've read some threads on their 3.91's, they sound awesome. I think I have the same approach to those, the axles, driveshaft, etc. Replace with what you want when it happens. Will just have to deal with the towing part.
