Question Need some help

Ok so i have a black SS M6. My car is very hard to keep clean so I decided i would start hand washing it my self problem is though i am in texas and the heat makes it hard to get it dried with out sun spots. Even when i use a towel it seem to leave some streaks and such so I need some help on what to do in order to get it looking sharp again. thx for the input

well I too live in Texas....on the other side of the state.....I hand wash my car....EVERYTIME.....what you need to do is find somewhere to wash it where you have SHADE close, like your drive way. If its really hot....like its been ALL FRICKIN SUMMER.....I back out my other car, and as soon as I do the final rinse, I pull it into the garage and start wiping her down. As soon as I finish toweling her off.....I break out a new MF towel and the Detail Spray ad ngo over the entire car. SQUEEKY CLEAN!!

yeah a good MF towel and a detail spray to finish up drying works great on dark cars.

This one's easy. Wash it at night.

What time of day are you washing?

Most people don't want to hear this, but wake up just before dawn and start washing... the light is far less harsh and will give you plenty of time to wash without having to fight the sun/heat.

If I'm doing some serious detailing mid summer I'm usually out of bed by 5am and in the garage shortly after to start... sucks waking up early, but at the same time it sucks more working/fighting heat.
