Camaro SS is just as fast to 60 mph... In other words, the IS350 is nearly just as fast as the Camaro SS at legal speeds. The first two gears of the IS350's 6-speed are lower than the first two gears of the IS-F's 8-speed. Do some research before you just spout out words that are attached to feeling towards a car instead of real objective points. The IS350 is the fastest N/A V6 automatic sedan from a dig on the market.
Uh ok thanks..Not sure if your saying i was spouting off any..I dont know a lot about the ISF Lexus thats why I posted this, but I cant tell you that I owned an 08 IS 350 and I feel that my SS would have no prob wit it..

I owned an 07 335i and an 08 is350. With my "testing" the Lexus wasn't faster

It's more comparable to SS times than V6 times, 0-60 is virtually dead even between the SS and IS, beyond that the SS starts to walk all over the IS.

Stock 1/4 mile times for IS-F and SS from Dragtimes.com, funny thing only saw 5 times for 2010 SS when I did search. First page is IS-F select second page you will see times for SS. It still hard to figure out which has the edge since there were so few SS times posted for SS based on this data the edge go's to IS-F but once again not enough data here for an accurate picture.

Ran across another Lexus a few days ago and we got on it. closed road. From about 35 mph roll my car pulled it by about a car length and then gradually pulled away from him as I was rowing through the gears.

I work at a lexus dealer in the service dept, I love the lexus product. When looking to get a new car I could have bought the lexus at cost. I have drove all the models including ISF and LS600, GS450h. The IS350f is a nice car but not a rocket ship and in the mid 40s, ISF is in the high 70s. My thoghts where, Camaro for 31k, not much of a choise. The lexus is awsome and rarely brake but there is something specal about heavy metal from Detroit. Besides I can have two Camaros or one realy cool one for the same price as one lexus. IM sure il get another Lexus but im REALY enjoying my car

No disrespect intended but if you work at Lexus dealership you would know that 2011 IS-F list for 64.5K and that's fully loaded Nav,Sunroof,ML DVD sound,Brembo calipers, rotors etc. and most folks are paying out door between 60K and 62K that proven fact I paid 61K for mine so before making comment "ISF is in the high 70's" you should verify your facts first instead of giving out miss information since just added over 10k to actual cost of car. But you are right for a fully loaded SS is still cheaper than IS-F not sure what fully loaded SS are going for now but both have similar performance numbers, but two different types of car both achieving same goal in end speed, power, and handling.

Stupid kid in a Lexus (not sure what model, don't really care. Looked like a newer model) the other day was coming up behind me really fast. I'm in the right lane and there is another car on my left and we are coming up to a light. I guess the dumbass thought I was gonna beat the light change and he was going to try to pass me but when it turned yellow I'm gonna slow down and stop when it turns red. That's the norm right? Well I slow to stop and so does the car on my left. The idiot can't stop quick enough and avoids the car on the left of me by swerving into the left turn lane and jumps the curb, barely misses a pole before coming to a stop in the middle of the intersection. Luckily no other car hit his dumbass. When the light turned green I kind of gunned it a little just to be an ass and looked over at him and he was checking out his driver side curtain airbags that deployed and was wondering why the hell he did what he did. Even if I would have decided to be a moron like him, I would have smoked his ass. F$@k Lexus.

I went again a IS-F on my local 1/8th mile track. I think its an 2010 model..

I ran 8.59 with my horrible tune. it ran 8.71. I watched it several times and it runs 8.6x to 8.75.

of course the driver might have been running the A/C, traction control on and soft launches....

thats a $65000 car, that sux.
