Funny road trip/wife story

The wife and I live in SoCal but are Cal Bears fans and frequently drive to games in Berkeley, about 380 miles each way. Most of the drive is on a big interstate (I5). She always insists on driving part way and I used to dread it because whereas I drive about 78 iin a 70 MPH zone, she always drives right at 70. This weekend we made the trip in the Camaro. About half way there I turned the wheel over to her annd after a while she ask "What's that bing noise." It was the do not exceed this speed bell which was set at 80. Camaros do not like to go slow.

I did this to my wife the first week we had our car.....SHE was taking the car to work so show it off to the guys she works with.....well my wife has a heavy foot.....so I set it just so see if she was going to "get on it" and ask me waht the ALARM was for.....sure enough....it went off and told me that night, that an alarm kept going off in the car.I got a good laugh.....and her face turned red!

I guess that she new that she would have to drive a few more ,miles than normally , the was not in Berkeley ,but in GIANTS land , and one dreaded bridge to cross , so she was right ....again .

To old friend

We actually took Pacheco Pass for the first time in about 40 years, then up thru San Jose to Candlestick. It was kind of a nice change. We usually drive to my sis and bils in Marin then to Berkeley. The next game is at ATT so were going to Marin then taking the ferry to the game.

hahaha. i loved it when my wife first drove it and i heard the noise. she panicked a little then i told her. lol. i think i loved it even more when it became apparent that she was falling in love with the car too.
