You won't see the gains for a quite a few miles. Did you get the 100 miles on the car they recommend before going to the track?
Mine took at least 50 miles before I started to see real gains.

Probably 110 miles before I hit the track.

Gotcha. I was just checking. I saw a guy sell his after he bolted in on, through it right on the dyno without driving it, and complained about the numbers.

Are others intakes shifted to the driver side like mine? Also, the notch on the passenger side for the radiator bracket could be about a quarter inch wider to the outside.

They may have sent you an older bottom plate. The new ones have a larger cutout that makes it fit right. Just call them; they'll send you a new one (if that's the case) free of charge.

Based on what you're saying, I'm pretty sure that's the case, though.

Vararam said that they don't have anything old and it's just GM variances.

I'd say I felt more power instantly but I will say after about 1000 (not 100) miles it sounds 100% different and feels much stronger from my butt dyno.

There are definitely variances between vehicles. Out of curiosity, when did you get your VR intake? All of the early fitment issues should have been resolved at least a month or two ago.

Hmm, then in that case, there is no newer lower part, you have the latest version.

Could you post a picture and we'll all see if there is anything we can suggest to help out? If it is just bit off center, then I'm pretty sure this is normal, as the engine/radiator aren't necessarily centered in the frame anyhow.
