Now I am wondering if mine got off at the Detroit interchange.... Mike's was going further south and may have continued to New Boston...
Mine is going a little north of the interchange, a decent hike from New Boston.

Bay Day #14 for me :(
I called my dealer this afternoon and had a little chat. I started the conversation out by asking..."today is bay day 14; am I actually still bayed, or do we have a railcar #?" BIG SILENCE on the line; then, he said, "I'll call you right back!" So I thought, OK...giving him the benefit of the doubt; he's a nice guy so I know he'll call me back. Sure enough, about a half hour later, he calls, and tells me what I already know... ~ car has been built 2 weeks ago today!....yes, I know that. ~ they have to wait until they get several railcars loaded with cars that are headed "down our way", then they'll ship it. Well, hmmm...haven't heard that one before, but OK. ~ This is about the longest I've ever seen it take to get a car shipped. Oh really? Hmmmm...I'd like to introduce you to some folks I "know" in a little place called the 8/15/11 TPW thread! LOL! Anyway, long story short...he doesn't know anymore than I do, but at least he's promised to check daily for a railcar# for when it does ship, and email it to me. So, no earth shattering news. At this point, I just hope I get my car by my birthday...2 weeks from today. Glad your cars are enroute, Mike and cooper. Jarby, you've got a beauty! Thanks for the pics! OK...I'm in a mood...so I'm off to brood!   That's all.

It happened, finally...
It is so worth the wait. Wow. Amazing. Everything is just how I imagined, but better. The steering wheel is not a bother at all, it actually looks rather dignified. And the car looks even better in person, and even better when it's yours.  The first place I took my family to eat was Applebees and a woman immediately began guffawing over it, complimenting it. "What is it? A 2011?" she asked. "No..." I responded coyly, "it's a 2012." O_O. Well I'm going to look at it, but I won't touch it, promise, she said. It's so responsive when you hit the gas pedal, and the HUD is amazing. The rear view camera is fantastic as well. Also the premium mats, the cargo mat, and the even the trunk net were all welcome additions. The only thing I regret is this Satin Nickel Fuel Cap. I ordered it, but asked the dealership not to put it on. I don't like it, and now need to sell it, but a small detail. This car looks amazing, and it was a great experience driving it today and it is well worth the wait. I hope everyone else gets theirs soon....
