Nope staying all natural with this car. But you were close! We'll see if anyone else has a guess.

Your catch can threw me. I was thinking most catch can owners are F/I. I would now bet your purchase is a 416 stroker kit, like below.

nope, anyone who even uses their ls3 to it potential can benefit from a catchcan. They really do catch alot of oil, which will only ends up in your intake and combustion chamber taking away from your cars total performance. Good 100 dollars to spend if a guy plans on modding past a stock engine.

And not a 416, i wish! Someday, maybe.

It was a set of 4.11 richmond gears. Got a smoking deal on a brand new set. Cant wait till winter so i can get them installed without having to put the car out of commision while i could be driving it.

BTW, if anyone ever want to do the 416 rotating assy. I can do you one better, my brother can do the 416 or 427 rotating assy. for about 700 dollars less thru this work. He builds blue print engines at Marshall engines in kearney, NE. And for what its worth their LS3 427 makes more HP/TQ than Mast motors for less $ and it has warranty.

Not to detour anyone from such awesome pricing but I dont think it would be rational to compare decent craftsmanship from a great LSx board sponsor and engineer like MAST Motorsports to someone like Marshall (Blueprint) Engines. I for one would HATE to replace my engine twice let alone Three times in my Corvette, GTO, or Fbody!!! No matter what the warranty it should be a solid product that only needs installed ONCE!!

Ask this guy what he thought of his customer service from Marshall (Blueprint) Engines. BTW this is a ol' 350 SBC the kind that most rebuild in their garage and can't screw up!

I would BE PISSED, let alone if it was a PITA to change like an Fbody or Corvette!

I prefer product designed and built by ENGINEERS not Designed by engineers assembled by the previous hardees drive thru guy!

LEEEERROOOOYYYY JEEENNNNNKKKINNNNNSS!

Thats kinda nice to see, good thing is if i ever do mine it will be done by someone who knows what the **** they are doing (me) that way i coudnt blame anyone but myself. Building engines isnt rocket science but i can see how some people could take short cuts in the name of profit. Kinda sucks for the people that cant build this stuff themselves. On another note 700 dollars less is still a good deal if you are just buying a rotating assy. to do yourself or have a local shop do.

I'll agree on the pricing on the rotating assembly , I probly wouldnt go as far as buying a assembled short block tho! Who wouldnt like BNIB hard parts untouched for 700 less than the competition!

It's a nice piece of mind to have a good machine shop do it and have the fact sheet with all the clearances/torque specs/ etc... listed. The TPIS 347ci LS6 I have came with all the info include all the weights of the pistons, rods, pins, and what the rings were gapped to.

Hot cars and Hot chicks

There, I at least got your attention.

Calling anyone that has a convertible old or new. My car club is in charge of the UNL Homecoming parade and we need a few more cars. It is October 7th, 2011. Need to be at UNL by 4:30PM. Please let me know if you are interested. You would be piloting queen/king candidates.

Thanks guys!
Renee

UPDATE: Our very own Nebraska Camaro5 vert Bre-Z will be in the parade. Thanks Steve!

I thought this might be the best place to ask. I am about to purchase a full exhaust headers, high flow cats, catback and CAI. I am looking for a good shop to install everything and get a good dyno tune done to the car. I live in omaha but dont have a clue who does this stuff. Any help is very appriciated.

Thanks,
Jon
