No offence to any authority figures here...(all that are in here seem pretty dang cool actually... wish you worked in my town!) I speak in generalities... meaning 99% of those I have met, on and off duty. Not just when I get pulled over LOL. It goes for the local Sheriffs too... If I ever have to call them I ask for my buddy Jeff from High School... otherwise I get the riot act and I was the one who called them!!... okay I'll shut up now.)

The local police and sheriff here had one Z/28 as their high speed pursue vehicle, they were replaced with the Charger R/T... Still looked more menacing than the Crown Vic's...
I remember back when the CHP ran 5.0 Stangs... I could see their head lights from miles away, plenty of time to slow down and pull over. Now it's hard to tell.

Those chargers just came into thier force 3 years ago

And seeing how budgets in every state are being cut...i dont see a fleet replacement soon

Check it out...its gonna be mean and i think anyone will think twice about trying to outrun it.

Like i said...this car will not be sold to the public...after the car gets "old" they will destroy it.

Plus...i would hate to see a camaro as a cop car...i mean just think of it like this...

You and your SS are just cruisin down the street and another cool guy(Or you think is a cool guy) and his SS ride up next to you....you rev up at him....and then his blues come on and gets you for instigating street racing.

I would rather just keep the charger and the 4th gen as the trooper cars.
