Mods?

Doesn't it feel like we're paying for mods that should've been on the car in the first place? Like the concept side markers, heritage grill, etc.

Haha you're right; like i understand how we gotta buy body kits and aftermarket exhausts and rims and what not.
but the heritage grill is something that should've been on the car. same with the side markers.

Its cause they put something nice on then they dangle bait in front of you "well your camaro looks super but.......how about THIS *dangle dangle*" you go and then you go then you swipe your plastic or sing your check spend 2k on impulse then you go WTF DID I JUST DO . But if not that you go at least my car looks SICK now and GM wins any ways

GM makes there money more from t-shirts and hats and after market parts more then car sales. And dealers make more money from the service department then sales so GM and the Dealers. Make more money installing after market parts then from selling cars how the world works and spins

If you would have bought a Corvette, this car is made to stay Stock. Keep it stock, save your match numbers etc...they all say.

Camaro's are made to be modified and personalized.

So instead of just driving and enjoying it, we can enjoy modding our Gen5's and it's a lot of fun. And your money would be going elsewhere anyways.

No. They're options for a reason. The point is to make your car your own, some people don't really care and love the car as-is, others want to personalize it.

GM can't satisfy everyone. Be glad they're even offering you some warrantied options to change the look of your car.

Why can't people understand that people like "why do you waist your money or change a brand new car?" my answer is simple "well i could be smokeing crack or useing an HIV needle......." its a hobby keeps me out of trouble keeps me occupied and makes the car mine. And you don't need to drop 4 grand to do it 10 dollor window tint black out your side markers one quick ease cheap mod. so to you good sir

Really guys? Back 20 years ago would any of you thought that 323 to 426 horse power cars could be bought of the dealer showroom for cheap as they are? Who cares if you have to spend a little money to modify your car?

I am glad but is it REALLY worth the numbers they offer? I find IMO and alot of others option the prices are sky rocketed. If GM wants to stay competitive in the after market world they need to match there prices to what is around them. They live in there own world and price jack you IMO. And thus lose ALOT of sales me i LOVE the after market stuff from chevy more so then ALOT of places again IMO. But there prices are like WTF REALLY THAT MUCH!

Good point Tom....really good point. Also count me in as one of the ones who likes to personalize my car so I don't mind doing the mods. Even though I am just starting out, I've only had my 10 2SS/RS for 3 weeks now. The original owner did some things that I completely agree with to the car so I was lucky there.

Its called inflation. There are actually far fewer options on cars these days then there ever has been. Try building a Mustang or Challenger, they usually come out to almost the exact price even on the options.

I see your point on inflation but still don't you think they should be competing better like for example the GM GFX kit costs almost 3 grand there is body kits out there for half that price....why so meny people don't buy it its too much money. this is all just IMO btw. 3 grand for one item or 2,000 for this one body kit 1,000 for the cat back hmm one mod or two mods for the same price. See my point? (this was just an example i know they don't work like that but you ruffly can play it out like that)

P.S I LOVE THE GFX GM makes i want it so bad lol
