Do the 2012 verts still have top rubbing issues?
Anyone having this problem with 2012 model year?

Mine does but not like the 11's. The front first fold has 2 lines where it folds back. Not a wear issue yet but I'm keeping an eye on it. Taking it to the dealer before I put it in storage this winter to have all issues documented. I'll post pics in a bit.

Here are the pics of my 2012. The white crease comes out when water is applied and doesn't appear to me to be wearing yet.
Thoughts from anyone with an 11? Do you have this same issue?

I should also say I have 1970 miles on it. Took delivery on 8/4/11. Have yet to drive it with the top up. Top is up every night though and when I am not driving it. I think it has to do with being down and the wind buffering the top.

Mine has 1500 miles on it and the top has been down for half those miles and I don't have any wear marks.

I'm exactly 6 weeks into my 'vert w. 800 miles on her and have only driven her 3 miles with the top up. No rub marks.
Did have 2, approx. nickel-sized white-ish, marks on the passenger side midway but they came out with a little water and light buffing.

Does the tsb only apply to 11's or both model years? If only 11 I doubt the dealer will fix it as warranty work.

If they won't fix it then you can just tape up the location shown in this thread. Post 754

What kind of tape should I use. Much easier to do it myself then make an appointment and wait for it. Seems easy.
