Exactly. I do the same shit to Ferraris & Lambos. Course, I have to be careful not to turn my time circuits on, while slamming it into 4th.

Anyone notice that the biggest smart a's are the ones who just joined the forum? Used to be on a forum for another car I owned. We found out that the smart a's there didn't even own our cars. Just punks with big mouths.

Several years ago I had a riced out 225 hp car. I pulled up with a friend next to a F355 Spyder. I revved like a Jackass, and then he launched with me, easily smoking me.

My friend asked, "Why would you be dumb enough to race a F355 spider? and I responded "Whens the last time you saw a ferrari 355 launch?" I didnt think I'd win, I just wanted to see him launch it. He did, and it was well worth it.

Sometimes these guys just want to see you light 'em up so they can say "wow thats awesome". Just like the guys at autozone always ask me "Come on, do a burnout when you leave"- because all they can afford are 80s camaros, and they love cars!

I call a lot of it "camaro envy" they want one but never got one can't pay for one so they see you and BINGO GO TIME

also it looks like a sports car so it gets into peoples mind. They think all us who drives one are speed demons out for races. I mean why else would we buy this type of car

. In there mind i would never street race my self but yeah its just the mentality of people and how they view us. Or any sports car for that matter. Your in a whole new league of a$$holes when you drive this car but hey. Its all apart of the camaro experience so enjoy it and don't let it get to you

and to the poster who stated "Ive never had cars pulll up next to me wanting to drag, in my life, until I got the Camaro" i know its true for the reason i stated its not odd it's just the way the world spins. This has plagued camaros from the start and will keep doing so till the end of time i enjoy it but i never feed into it

I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
