No one has mentioned the difference In sport modes for 10 and 11 yet. In some 10's if you go into tap shift and you want to return to sport you have to shift back into drive then into manual mode again whereas the 11's only need to hold down the up shift button for 2seconds.

I don't know about you but i herd it SO meny times from SO meny people. "Man i should have never got rid of that car worth so much money today". No one can prodict the future true. But history repeats its self and everone thought there 69 in 69 was "just another car and won't be crap in the future" now they go for 40k plus for good ones. I was saying about 2% of all camaros sold the 100,000 and 100,000 of them but still COULD BE VAULE IN THEM

so we can agree to disagree

You're absolutely right... I remember people saying the same thing about 1989 Turbo Trans Ams (when they traded them in)... you just can't predict what cars your kids and grandkids will pay big premiums for, but there will be some models from the 2000's and 2010's that become coveted in the future.

My SS was built for me on 8/4/09 has no girly back up sensors. It has chicklets and a performance badge.
I still baby this car but I refuse too save it for anybody.
IMO a new Camaro is a terrible thing to waste.

Nope. All the same size. Though early 2010s dont have the roller skates on their calipers.

I have the chicklets and the GMPP badge under the hood...and thankfully no sensors on my 2010 2SS/RS... just wish I had the HUD like the 11's but that's GM dropping the ball when it is setup for it and not putting it there

Going back to the "collector's item" thing - I invite you to look at the Edmund's or KBB, you'll find that there are VERY few cars that are enjoying that status. It just doesn't happen anymore. Maybe with the 2010 Camaro's it will, simply because of the break in production and the dramatic restyling, but beyond that, I wouldn't expect much. Drive it. Enjoy it. Use the garage to store boxes, not your car.

The hay day of old cars being worth a ton is OVER... there is never going to be another 69 Camaro or 71 Cuda again... sorry.

The reason being... people THINK there is and they are socking them away.

With the rate of inflation, the devaluation of the the dollar and the number of cars now, the best bang for the buck is to drive it, have fun with it for 10 years then crush it... well maybe thats a bit drastic but seriously, drive the wheels off them!

Thank You!

I saw it.

The 2010 model had a 6 speed manual transmission, whereas the 2010 model had a 6 speed manual transmission.
The 2010 model had a color called Victory Red, and so did the 2010.
The 2010 had both LS3 and L99 engines available, and so did the 2010.
The 2010 model came with 'GM chicklet' badges, whereas the 2010 model did not have these badges.

While you have a bit of credibility to your post, you have to understand that in the 60's/early 70's, they didnt make 5,000,000+ cars of the same kind. That in itself will be a major factor in it.

I dont know but I'd assume there are a TON of SS models ranging close to half of the number of production. In other words approx. 2.5 million of them. Now who's to say in 40 yrs, considering MOST ppl will get rid of it after 10-15 yrs if not before, perform engine swaps, alter the car, trash the car, ect? How many would be left in original condition with fewer miles, (less than 100000mi) matching numbers?

Id say IF the car will be worth money, it will have to be based on rarities such as 09 with chicklets AND be a rarer color like ABM. If youre buys a car for investment purposes by nothign other than a ZL-1! They will NOT make 2,000,000 of these so this is a good bet and would produce more value on a car.

Also to consider is in 30-40yrs, where will the energy industry be? Will you be able to drive a gasoline run vehicle or will it be eletric cars? If you still have gasoline run vehicles which I'm thinking they will, how much will gasoline be? Will anyone who could afford the camaro now a days be able to afford the gasoline to drive it then? if not ppl will get rid of them and the junk pile they go. Though no one can predict the future, I'd have to say IF this car does get to be worth money DO NOT look for it to be worth 100,000s of $$$ or some stupid figure just because the earlier models (60s/70's) multiplied 15-85 times their original value.
