Subframe bolts
This is gonna sound like I'm not ready to install my bushing inserts..
The bolts that are on the subframe bushings are the ones removed to lower the cradle right? I was under the impression that you need to remove those bolts to pry out the metal washers and then remove 4 additional bolts for lowering the cradle?

Correct, those 4 bolts hold the subframe on, and hold the metal washers in as well.
Those 4 will do the trick; but don't take out all 4 at the same time unless you have the subframe supported. |

There are only 4 bolts holding up the cradle. You'll need to remove the bolts in order to get the metal washers off.
If you plan to lower the whole cradle at once you'll remove all 4. If you plan to do either a side by side or front to rear install then you would only remove the bolts you need and loosen the others as much as you can. Ex: I went side to side install. So I installed the driver's side first. I removed both the front and rear bolts on the driver side and then loosened the bolts a bunch on the passenger side. Meanwhile I had a trans jack with a 6x6 chunk of wood under the rear differential. I used that to control how far down the cradle would go. Once I did the drivers side then I put in the bolts on the driver side back in a couple threads and then went to the passenger side, removed the bolts, and did the inserts. Hopefully that makes sense.

So far I got the drivers side washers off, I see what people mean when they say the front washers are a PITA! I know the inserts will only fit in one way but the instructions for the bmr inserts threw me off. They show a picture of the smaller inserts marked as "REAR" and the bigger ones marked as "fRONT".
