youtube has a lot of exhaust clips, thats how I selected my cherry bomb extremes. They are not glasspacks and only costs $400 for whole system cat-back. I love the sound.

Love my Corsa LS3 with LT's on my L99, but wish I went with Flowmaster which is louder.

Looks like I'm the first with Stainless Works to chime in here.. The SW retro chambered cat back has a nice deep growl to it. I may be the first to say this about this system (from what I've read on here anyway) but I would say there is some drone with this system but only really when accelerating in the ~1.3k- ~2k rpm range but its not unbearable. Overall I'm very happy with this set up and wouldn't trade this exhaust for any other out there.
I do agree with what others have said though.. Try to hear some of these exhausts in person if at all possible. |

I was referring to the AFM sound not drone. Solo is drone free but I was commenting on how I can't stand the AFM sound with any exhaust but with the Solo system it's somewhat bare-able. |

It might have something to do with mine being an early 2010.

Dude, if you want a muscle car sound i would recommend either Flowmasters, or MBRPs.
In my opinion they give a strong pitched tone that just screams muscle car. I've got SLP Loudmouth 2s on my L99...but i regreted buying them from my manufacturer as my knowledge on the aftermarket grew later on ![]() Flowmaster & MBRP = Best Sound |

Nevertheless, I know a lot of people here on Camaro5 are dissatisfied with AFM and how it sounds when kicking in/out.

We just completed SW headers and SW retro chambered exhaust system on my Bro-in-Law's vert. Sound is just awesome....no drone...plenty of muscle under acceleration!! Can't wait for tune!!!

Solo's are great, no issues with my J-pipes. Sound looses its raspiness after a week or so and sets in a deep tone at about 300 miles. I put on the Hi Flow Cats today and it just sounds plain ol' nasty when you get on it. Plenty of clips around - good luck. I know it took me about 2-3 months before I set out on my mod plans.
