But we got so many rides and offers from great camaro friends to drive their cars, it was just unreal and showed the support and friendship of this community. And I surely didn't need my car to party in the parking lot after, along with meeting and making new friends from all over. Could I have stayed home, sure... but I chose to make great memories and do what I had to do.

Come, have fun! with over 1,000 camaros on site, I'm sure someone can give you a ride or two or five.

even living here in Indy, we may stay at the hotel to party with crowd.
I felt the same way ha! But it was still nice to see another camaros and meet everybody there.

I don't think we said north east by itself. North east/midwest? I'm pretty sure that came up a few times, but nothing definitive for the north east on its own. If anything, I'd say we were trying to lean everyone towards midwest, while keeping the north east as an option and steering everyone away from C5FIII being in the south again.

That said ... Indy is what, about 13 hours of driving for you (plus stops)? Not exactly around the corner, but I don't think you'd be setting a fest record if you drove it in one day either. And something to keep in mind is that while we haven't settled on what we'd like to do for the 4th fest, chances are slim to nil that it will be closer to you in 2013.

Very cool. We'll look into that as well. We've been looking at hotels, but it's going to be difficult to get that "one hotel" with the parking lot that we are going to need. ....errr....two hotels side by side with that parking lot we are going to need.

We'll let y'all know as soon as we can. We know it...the faster the better for everyone.
as Ryan stated, there are a ton of hotels in the area. The downtown area I would avoid, but there are a lot of hotels in the northwest and southwest side of Indy. Plenty of places for people near the airport, in Plainfield, Avon, and even further north towards I-65.

We host the Indy 500, the Brickyard 400, the MotoGP race, the NHRA Nationals, and several NCAA events not to mention we will host the 2012 Superbowl....

I think we can handle a few thousand Camaro owners

his vette... he was out at Road Atlanta and went to pass a guy, was going a little too fast, hit a low spot in the road as he was starting his turn and unloaded the suspension and "drifted" around the corner. he damn near missed the wall. there was only about 6 feet left before he woulda missed it.

Yes, I will be going with the Mid-Atlantic group.
I've also read so many oh thats to far. Must be you want it to be a hour away. When I was in the US Navy, I would drive from Tampa, Florida to San Diego, California everytime I had to. Thats 2100 miles and I would drive home and back to California. 11 hour drive isn't to far to go to Camaro5 Fest. I haven't been to the Camaro5 Fest I & II because of being in the hospital during those times. This time, I will be there no matter what.

You know, I love you guys, and these forums, but damn, it's like someone handed you my calendar and said "pick all the days he can't go". This just under a month before my wedding, so it'll be a no go. Which is sad, I had made my self a promise to attend.

If the cards come out that I can make, shit ya, this it'll be a sweet one.
