your dealer is reporting correct that your car appears to be on a QC hold. Recently most of the Verts have gone into a QC hold since the early August production dates at or around the 10th. Those have since moved out after about 3 to 4 weeks in QC. It is clear that there must have been a part or issue that has required a new part to be ordered and received from the supplier to fix the problem prior to shipping. You are right at that period in which I would expect to see the release and movement from QC. GM does not ever disclose what the issue really was so as not to draw attention to something that is not an issue on other cars. This type of situation is normal however it is rare. The main difference is that the New GM will not ship a vehicle until it meets the high standards established for quality. Sorry I don’t have any more information or detail for you. Mostly we only see the data and trends established by tracking multiple vehicles and understanding on how production processes work. Keep watching and I am sure you will see something in the way of movement very soon. More than likely it will be preceded by another 4b00 right before you see the 4200 shipped status.

I have had my 45th 2LT vert for 4 weeks. The final built plate in the door jamb is dated August 11. Maybe I got lucky as that day is my birthday too.

No updates guys? This car is surprisingly nice. Its is lacking a bit in power, but I am used to very high horsepower cars. I'll fix that. I have never driven one before, I bought it as a project to see what I can do to make it handle like my pro-touring car. I must admit, it's a real nice platform. The ride is confident. It feels like a very nice car and I am truly surprised. My wife even commented that it "felt very nice". I guess that is this perma-grin I hear of.

I hope you all get your cars soon, especially the 1st time 5th gen guys. You will be impressed.

My only issue is they stuck my "SS" on the rear crooked. LOL

Pfadt springs. Wanted to see how they were and try to avoid coil overs. Looks awesome. Ride quality is very good. I do feel like they put the damper in a place that is just on the edge of where it is happy but they work. Stance is about perfect. Raining all day here in Jersey. I will post a pic when the sun comes out

Try doing fuse pull makes a difference if you use 91 or 93 octane.

Dealer called me today and said my car arrived by ship to The Island and it should be at the dealer Thursday or Friday.
I think I'm going to freak out.

My car has an ETA of the distribution center tonight. If it catches a truck tomorrow it'll be in in the evening, otherwise Thursday or Friday.

I couldn't imagine it sitting more than 2 days unless there is a shortage of trucks.

is your dealer a pretty busy one? Ive found the buiser the dealer, the quicker your car gets to the dealer once it hits the rail yard- my first camaro was at the dealer within 45 minutes of landing in the rail yard. This one took almost 3days before it was sent to becky. Not sure how big becky's dealer is, but i know the first i ordered my first camaro from, was a large distribution dealer who sent cars out to smaller dealers at request.
