H-Town peeps, it might be advantageous for you guys to plan on meeting up in Texarkana... That would save you guys about 100 miles or so...

When we leave Memphis, if we headed a bit NE, to Nashville, then the folks from AL MS, Georgia, Fl and South Carolina wanting in could meet us there... it's fifty miles further that way but worth it to me to have a larger caravan...

For those interested in a Casino stop along the way I am checking into a couple of Casinos that are just south of Memphis. I contacted two tonight that have covered parking and will get back with them tomorrow to talk with their sales department.

One looked like they had very good internet rates so I will see what they can do for a group.

It won't hurt to have options early on in the planning stage.

Robert - Nashville is fine by me, larger group always more fun. As for leaving a day early I don't think that will work for me. Need babysitters and I don't want to put more stress on stef. Trying to get her to fly out on Friday and drive back with us.

Thats cool... the initial plan is to leave around ten am, or meet for breakfast then, and leave by 11... so... that will give you time without killing yourself... My only recommendation is to take the toll road around Austin.... Most of the rest of it will be fine...
