Applying Stripes - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

We are getting hockey stripes but leaving the hood bonnet off. We are then ordering the ralley stripes. Has anyone ever put these on themselves? Or is it worth the extra money to have the dealer put them on? I'm not even sure of the price difference uninstalled/installed.

Txturbo I know has experience installing auto stripes himself and says it's not a big deal. I have installed similar decals on a boat - wet - and you have to do it rather quickly, but it's nothing I wouldn't tackle again. Also, the Hockey Stripes are available without the hood and deck lid stripes for a lot less money.
