What do you guys think about this deal - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I found a 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS with Transformers package. It is an automatic (which I prefer now since the commute is about 70 miles round a day) The previous owner also put the yellow inserts inside it but it has the stocks in the trunk as well. It has 15XXX on it and they are asking 32XXX with it brought down to 31XXX. I did find a scuff on the front bumper under the driver's side foglight that will need repainting. They now have the price at 30K and added $500 to my trade.

The biggest thing to me is that they are taking my trade that I owe practically 30K on and practically washing it....I would only be taking a 1K beating.

Wondering what you guys think about the pricing? Only thing that concerns me with the camaro is visibility issues (coming from a truck) and that it will be my daily driver of 70 miles round trip a day.....so with winter coming, I got a concern.

Depends what the value of your truck is. Do you know? Try and get them to pay it off. Don't roll any money from that vehicle into the new.

Tell them to wash you out of your truck and put you into the Camaro for nothing out of pocket or you will walk...then you will enjoy your Camaro.

Thanks. the truck actually has an accident on the record (not my fault) that is kinda being a stickler. I am putting down the money to wash and then some.

Is it repaired? Should not be too bad unless it was major. Maybe you should be checking the diminished value thread.

yeah truck was repaired...$500 damage...no one really seems to care about it except one or two dealerships that have given me a hard time on it.
