To help out the mole with some answers....

Ive seen both blues....the aqua sparkles....and the dark is a deep navy ,both look good
Yes IOM is being run...a real headturner
We are looking at 440 capacity on one shift....this is a flex plant which is designed for multiple models....therefore not tooled up for 3 shifts of one model..It could be if demand warranted but that would be years away
The CGM is beginning now ..we waited til now as the impala build is off for the week
Saturdays are only rumour as now.....lets hope the sales warrant it
Yes our ramp up is ahead of the original schedule.....BUT QUALITY IS PRIORITY....WE STOP THE LINE WHEN NEEDED AND BUILD ALL JOBS IN STATION no more filling up repair areas or chasing defects down the line
We are still hoping for the ragtop hope they decide to build it, along with a Z28
And to agree with the mole everyone is excited and in love with this vehicle

And ya we are getting old here .laid off a lot of good people the last year in Oshawa..our workforce has essentially been cut in half

Would it be realistic to expect my 2LT/RS to be built in the next 2 month. I figure since I didn't order till the beginning of March there are about 14000 orders ahead of me.

What he said.
White is coming just don't know when.
I spoke with a person from the bodyshop today and he tells me they have some of the tooling in place for the convertable! But , don't get jumpy cuz they are not slated until next spring.
Orange with orange is my fave combo so far.
The dark grey looks as good as the black. They all look good.

So which one of you two has any idea about the quality review? One of the Camaro disciples and I had our cars made day 1 and 2 and neither have shipped yet. Last info she had (today) was that her car was stuck in quality control. Does that sound remotely correct that day 1 and 2 cars could still be "stuck" there? Yes, I know the official "ship to commerce" only came this past weekend.

Thanks.

You have a little wait ahead of you. I would think closer to 3 months but don't hold me to that.

So ho9ld on, we finally find out that the Unicorn has been built, and no one has went ot the lot in Oshawa to grap pics, WTH?!
First Mole, thanks alot for comming on board and providing us with info, Oshawa insider, Zedder, all of you are great folks and im sure we all appreciate the time you guys put into our cars and on our site. Thanks
Anyone see a IOM on IOM 2LT/RS with CGM stripes yet, mine is to be built April 20 to Mid May. TPW said 4/20, now it says 5/04, and i got a call from GM Canada saying anytime between April 20th to mid May, quite confusing!

He is totally correct.

Where I work on the line... to hold a job, you need seniority dating back to 1982.
