"We don't stop playing because we get old...we get old because we stop playing"

Guess I am too old to care about cars...maybe I shouldn't be driving one, either

Please don't be so quick to judge next time

Nice story. I love it when stuff like this happens
Geez... take it easy... I didn't judge anyone. All I said I was shocked that she noticed the shirt, knew the car or cared enough to mention it... twice.

FACT: Most over 50 year old women working at a fast food counter don't really care about cars.

Way to take my words and really twist them around and for missing the point. People on this site can be so soft.

Sorry I said anything now. I thought it was cool that someone who you wouldn't expect to be into cars was... you all successfully ruined the story by getting so defensive and taking it the total wrong way.

The story would not been nearly as memorable had it been the 20 year old kid at AutoZone that mentions my car everytime I am in there... I don't post that everytime it happens.

I can't speak for anyone else but I was just messing with you. It's just that as a member of this great forum you should'nt be surprised at the diversity of Camaro lovers.

It's putting out so called Facts like the one above that could really get storms brewing though. Unless, you've conducted a formal poll of over 50 women working at fast food restaurants and asked them about cars of course.

Keep in mind that us 50 plusers were driving around in the original Camaros and those fast food counter ladies may have been our co-pilots.

relax a bit, I think everyone was just mildly pulling yours.
Drop some pics of the new one when he/she comes and we'll have a beer.

I'd like to believe that and BELIEVE ME... I yank on people all the time but this was not the point at all and it didnt seem like some were "mildly yanking" but whatever, I slept fine last night.

Pics of baby will be coming but not till February! I talked to my mon (I am her only child and this is my first child...so first grandbaby) and she is so excited. Been riding me for YEARS to have kids. Well she tells me the other day she's buying the kid a car in the spring. She herself has been mulling over a new car anyhow so she decided this is the perfect excuse and a good reason to hang on to it. As of now she is planning on a 2012 2LT/RS A6 red/black/black convertible SWEET! I am trying to sway her to a 45th AE tho...

I don't think anyone was mad at you. I think they are just messing with you a little bit.Lol It seems like everywhere I go someone makes a comment about my Camaro. I love it and thats one of the best parts of owning a Camaro. I have always owned nice cars. I have never got as many compliments as I do now. Got to love it!!

FACT: Old people are cranky. (What are they doing awake so late anyway?)

Cool story man, and congrats on the baby.

Come on people. He did not mean anything offensive by his remarks. Hell, I'm 49 and had no problem with it at all and wouldn't believe that anyone would as well until I read some of the responses from some IMO overly sensitive members. Take the story for what it is and quit making it about you. It's not about you OR your age.
