If it wasn't during a test drive I would hope they were smart enough to get gap insurance.

I seen that car personally,I work at a dealer and the towing company came to pick up another car that we had,he already had that one on the back.
The guy just bought the car a couple days earlier, the tow truck driver said there were 3 guys in it at the time, and that the driver thought he was on the highway, when in fact he was on a dead-end road and ended-up hitting a tree!
Heres some more pictures of it on the flat-bed I took....

we're asuming it's a 'at fault' accident. Who knows, maybe he had to swerve to miss a car that didn't stop where they were supposed to, or turning out of turn. If this was the case, I would think insurance rates would not be affected. For the driver or us.

My agent said rates for SS Camaro's are actually higher than the Corvette.

He explained the Camaro is more in reach, price wise,to more drivers without the respect, maturity, experience that the high power car needs.

Corvette's weed out alot of these factors.

I,for example,am 51 years old, perfect driving record and still pay $650.00 per year for my SS.

My Vette,I had an 04' untill 2 years ago was only $475.00 per year..

I am fortunate though that NC has some of the lowest rates in the country, but they have collected alot of money from me over the years and never had to pay out anything...

Be safe out there everyone to keep our rates down..

The yellow convertible pictured was the car hit in Delaware by the cop who passed out and hit it and a Corvette on a dealer lot.

Did you see the ABM flood damaged car with the Synergy flames and skull painted on the hood. I hope that it was a wrap. https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/Vehicl...3&RowNumber=78

Wow... I am 45 and pay around 650 every 6 months with a clean record for my SS...
Although I do live in Tampa, so that explains most of it...lol

Destruction like that usually means an accelerant was used.
Motive was probably insurance fraud. Fake a stolen car report, have a friend torch it in a remote area and have the insurance pay off the car loan.
