I have posted on here before, but I got pulled over for turning right in a 'right turn only' lane. When I inquired to why I was pulled over, he said I did not use my turn signal. I said I was in a right turn only, how many different ways can I clearly stated I was turning right. Then looks at me like I'm the stupid one for turning right in a right turn only lane.

My neighbors have asked me whether I was worried that I would be arrested for owning a fast car?lol They're all from the old country, México, where la chota keeps its foot on everyone's throat.

You're supposed to use your turn signal whenever turning. Doesn't matter if your lane is designated for turning.

It appears your state it is "criminal" has a 1000 dollar fine attached to it. May be why he didn't write it, but you guys have some crazy traffic fine schedules up there...Our state has a criminal classification and a moving violation classification varying on the degree of the offense... its pretty weak. A good cop will sit on it and wait until you have other violations attached such as speed, racing, or reckless.

I have no problem with people chirpin the wheels just a tad, it's all in good fun and if they aren't speeding past that, it hurts no one... as long as I know they didn't see me and it wasn't a rub in my face.

Agree with Brantley on this one as well. DE also has the same kind of Statute.
I don't normally mess with people unless they are literally smokin' the tires. The excessive acceleration rests too much on the opinion of the particular officer who is observing the action. What one officer thinks is excessive may be fine in my eyes... its not as cut and dry like some other violations.
