I guess if you're selling them as fast as you can make them, there is little motivation to provide people with info to help them make an informed decision.

The frequent maintenance was just the last straw I needed to speak up.
You will have to deal with the same maintnance issues with any open element air filter. That's why the factory doesn't like using them. It's an easy trade off for the performance you get in return.

Vararam does not control the weather.

Until temps drop your not going to see much comparison wise.

I like the the look and ease of maintenance of the filter with the VR.

I would suggest a non-oiled performance drop in replacement filter for you.
The VR has tremenous top end power. 60 to 100 is it's Niche. I am very impressed with the amount of torque. There is alot of pedal left.

Somebody spoon feed me here... Is the VR intake producing more power than the injen long tube?

They've made some claims but nothing has been put down as a hard fact yet.

it makes just as much power as it pulls the exact times 0-60, as far as pulling more power, our members seem to think it does. It just hasnt been proven yet.

I bought it because it was a tad quicker then the injen with claims to be even more so it was a win win
Remember though, this intake pulls the 27rwhp in third gear after about 6000rpm I believe. The dyno sheet is somewhere here in this thread

Hope this helps

The air was okay at that point of the day. It went steadily downhill after that.

61°F, 30.27" Hg, RD: 38%, DA: 597

Corrected: 14.295 @ 96.92 MPH
