That's a steep asking price for the almost 14k in miles you got on the car.

To elaborate further the book value is $30,240 on a 2SS/RS with your mileage on KBB. Granted you got some performance modifications and visual things gone but the might only bump this up to $31,000 IMO. Hey if you can get what your asking great but personally I'd rather start with a new 1SS and put your mods on the car new.

Why, I agree. I paid MSRP of $38,470 for my loaded '10 SS/RS with A6 auto, sunroof, factory stripes, polished wheels, IO interior over 2 years ago. It now has only 14,000 miles and I've been driving it since 8/21/09. For about $3,000.00 a year, I'll buy a brand new UNTUNED better optioned car anyday.

$38,470.00 new vs. $32,500 used after 2 years equils about a $6,000.00 difference. Sounds like about $3,000.00 a year to me.

Mine is a 1SS with no modifications to the drivetrain. It was 32.5k out the door and has 8,800 miles on it currently. Realistically I would expect to get 25-27k in a private party sale, although I would ask 28k. The basic trick to selling any car private part is to ask a little higher than what your really looking for at book value. Incidentally, I don't for sale threads are supposed to be in the 5th Gen forum.....just sayin, personally I don't really care. I don't the OP cares what I have to say given that he didn't respond. Not saying he has a bad car or he's trying to rip anyone off, just voicing my thoughts and giving the numbers as to why.
