I hear you! My wife always asks if I will be able to install parts myself. I have some billet valve covers on the way next. I'm sweating that a little. LOL! Do you need the stock endlinks or what?

THAT IS A FACT!! I started all my own work when I was a KID and started with BICYCLES! as long as teh work doesn't involve the electronics (computers) I'm over it......as long as I have the right tools for the job.

LOL, I got my wife to help me install my strut tower brace.
Get her to help next time, then you can blame her if it goes wrong.

Are you using a wrench to ensure that the stud isn't turning?
Here's two examples of how to secure the endlink stud.

Too funny - sorry, not laughing at you - but I would say it's a safe bet to say at least 3/4 of the board has heard that at least once.
Good luck on getting it sorted out!

The key is how you broach the subject. Try this:
"It's a good thing I was in there working on this myself because look what I found. If this had failed while I was driving it could have killed me!!!" You make no mention of the fact that you did it. Plus it's an excuse to upgrade them. History is written by the winner; it's never called a lie. Happy wife, happy life. |
