so i decided to install my drop springs to in my garage, all was going well UNTIL i get to installing the driver side front swaybar endlink. Somehow i managed to strip the damn thing out.

i think this only happend cause i told the wife it would be no problem for me to install them, now i got to figure out how to get a new endlink before the wiffy figures out i broke something

ok done ranting now

I hear you! My wife always asks if I will be able to install parts myself. I have some billet valve covers on the way next. I'm sweating that a little. LOL! Do you need the stock endlinks or what?

I have an extra OE drivers side endlink you can have if you want it!

Are you using a wrench to ensure that the stud isn't turning?

Here's two examples of how to secure the endlink stud.

Too funny - sorry, not laughing at you - but I would say it's a safe bet to say at least 3/4 of the board has heard that at least once.

yea i was using the two wrench method and the outside 7mm stud on the end link striped out so now i have no way to propely torque the nut down. good new is i already got the replacement and will have fun trying to R&R the thing tommorow

The key is how you broach the subject. Try this:

"It's a good thing I was in there working on this myself because look what I found. If this had failed while I was driving it could have killed me!!!"
