Even the skid car was fun. I need to get me one of those and a big parking lot.

My brother said he should have the video edited by the end of the week, so I'll post that up as soon as he finishes. The track workers told him they could sneak through the fence where there was a hole, so I'm hoping he got some good footage that wasn't hindered by the fence.
Brooks showed me some videos and pictures! It looks like a great time and great learning experience despite the rain. I think the rain may have been somewhat of a plus though because you had to learn in that? The skid car looked awesome too. I wish I had been there. I can't wait to learn some of the new tips and pointers that B learned. Probably get all kind at our next autocross event. Any way glad ya had fun!

Btw I told Kelly on facebook that her and I should have planned a girls day doing something because you guys were gone late! lol

B said the intructor was impressed with your guys' ability to keep up with him despite his trying to loose you! Good job!!!!

You missed the memo though. he said it was FROM the rental company... he didn't say he RENTED it from the rental company...

Now that explains it!

Gordy got some great pics on f-book.

My pics are up at TSGMP Track Day Pics

I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I am quick to rip on kyle, but he was putting the vettes in their place in a car he had only been driving for a few hours. That deserves props!

The problem is I drive my car like it is a rental. I like to find the edge, I just go over it sometimes.

Brooks and I were in a group with a V6 camaro, two newer vettes and an 87 MonteCarlo. the first one to drop out of the group was the V6, then a vette, then the MonteCarlo, then the last vette. Now it is Brooks, the instructor in a Honda S2000 and I on the track and the fun began. The instructor tried his best but couldn't get us out of his rear view mirror.

The V6 really wasn't ready for it, she was slippin and sliding bad, the MonteCarlo well he was a drag car and gave it hell for a while but being sideways 3/4 of the time wore on him, and the two Vettes both said they were uncomfortable with sliding around and their cars couldn't do it. The V-6 can blame it on the bubble tires, the MonteCarlo well it wasn't the right car but the Vettes were more driver based then anything. It was just a blast to out run a vette even if it was a one time win.
