WOOT! YIPPY! WOW! YAY! ......Can anyone tell I just had a REALLY fun "spirited" run in my Camaro tonight? It just LOVES 55 degrees! Couldn't keep the back wheels from spinning, of course that may be due to the right foot throttle position sensor telling it to GO!

Hey all, any tips, pointers and lessons learned on winterizing and storing your C5? Still a few good weeks left (I hope) but just planning ahead. I have a brand new pole barn lined up but the owner wants the battery pulled...no access during the winter months. I appreciate any feedback and suggestions on things I should be considering.

I put mine on a battery tender, park it on pads (they're made of foam, you can use rubber ones too) to insulate the tires from the cement floor, I put dryer sheets in it (engine bay, interior, tailpipes, by each wheel - some say it keeps the rodents away) and cover it. That's it. I put in fresh gas when I fire it up for the first time in the spring.

Off Topic.

FigJam: Typically cops are what we DONT want to see (lol) but in this case I think its a plus! Good work!

Off Topic.....for those that dont know there is a 30 year story involving me and Studio 54 in the city.
Its open for "One more night at 54" on Oct 18.....I tried calliing into the contest, gave my info, talked a little with the fellow on the phone while waiting to get on air but accidentally lost the call while waiting to participate.

Blew my chance...re-dialed for 3 hours but not even close.

Last night (Monday) my phone rang...it was Sirius XM, they called me?
Yeah... to say I was on the VIP list for "One more night at Studio 54".
If the gentleman on the phone had a hand in this --- I THANK YOU!

This night will close a door on an open chapter in my life that has spanned almost 30 years.

Hey OB33

What Darth_Emma said is basically what I do but I remove the battery and keep it in a warm place (not on cement floor). Been doing this for 20 years never had a problem. Every once in a while throw the battery on the charger to keep it up. Might try the dryer sheet thing this year if not for anything else that clean fresh smell in the spring

I have also heard of putting a piece of plastic down first and parking on that to keep the moisture from coming up from underneath.

Make sure you top off the fuel tank and put in some stablizer.
