If the above is correct why aren't you setting it at 100%?

Any word on how the Hypertech tuner is working out for the Manual folks?

I would think that not being able to change shift points because it is manual, makes the tuner just beable to change rev limits and idle timing. sounds to be just to be benefitial to autos

Except for the actual tune, depending on fuel (regular/premium) I'm not sure how beneficial it is besides some of the other features it has. Having a auto I did notice a huge difference in the transmissions firmness, and the tune has made the over all power feel a lot stronger.

I'm not going to bother with shift points and rev limits...

I guess until some others with manuals can chime in, or until we start getting seeing some dyno numbers, I'd wait it out.

I don't really feel like this is a mod of adding xhp xtq, as it is the whole car feels like its using its maximum ability and power use now.

No it cannot. Only changes it allows for is tire height and gear ratio changes.

Anyone know of some decent 1/4 mile and 0-60 devices? I've heard of a few, but have never really looked into them.

I use my old MSD Dashhawk. It is ODB based not accelerometer based. Based on 0-60 MPH calculations from my time slips it appears to be pretty accurate.

Yeah thats the name I have heard of before, Dashhawk. I'll have to check that out. The local tracks around here just aren't maintained very well, so I wouldn't mind having something to just get some ideas of what I'm running every so often.

An Android app called Torque with a Bluetooth ODB module will handle this. There is also a different product for i-devices (maybe called Dyno) .

Tony. I thought the Torque app just used the phones accelerometer to do its 0-50 and 1/4 mile runs? Does it use the ODB instead...or both or what? Just curious if you know for sure.
