This. All it is, is a beading agent so that light doesn't refract as much through water particles that have a lower surface tension due to the porosity of the glass surface. It's cheap and easy to reapply when you need it.

I've been using it for years. It's essential here in Seattle with the dark season and the persistent drizzle.

It's also great for shower doors...keeps the soap scum from bonding to the glass.

Thanks for the information and adding to the conversation by telling me that the windshield is, in fact, a window. Most people don't do the windshield, can make it difficult to see during rain due to streaking. To each his own.

I wouldn't suggest using Rain X on your car. It can help in the process of deteriorating your windshield from rocks.

There are definitely better products. Adam's Glass Sealant is fantastic and I've heard great things about Wolf Chemicals glass sealant

I use the direct to window application and then I put the washerfluid additive in to keep it working like a charm. Love that stuff. I put it on all my windows in and out because it also helps keep them from fogging up. I use it on all my Envoy windows for winter and it helps make the frost easier to get off and on the headlite covers to keep the bugs slidin right off.

Tell you guys what... whos up for an independent test?

I'll give away 3 of our Perfect Vision Glass Kits to Camaro5 members willing to use them and post their reviews here on the forum.

The first 3 members to volunteer by posting in this thread (and who don't already have our glass sealant) will be chosen!

To volunteer post a picture of your car and the phrase "I WANT TO TEST ADAM'S GLASS SEALANT!"

No strings attached... I'll ship you the kit for free, you use it and post your review (good bad or otherwise) on the forum.

"I WANT TO TEST ADAM'S GLASS SEALANT!"

I have another product that I'm getting ready to put on my car that I could do a comparison against in the review.

Ive already got it Dylan... Love the stuff!

Didnt read through this thread, but I'll tell you this... Adams sealant is superior to RainX. Easier to apply, and lasts much longer!! Does smell nearly identical to RainX, so we need some good tropical stuff added or something! LOL

Great Product!
