Dreading the weather change...
Because I know it will be time to switch up to the daily... Does anyone do anything special when they store their PURRRR machine away?
So far we have: -Deep Clean -Battery stabilizer -Oil change -Over inflate tires (Stock pirelies max at 50 psi, so 45?) -Resist taking it out early... LOL Last edited by EnzoR; 10-06-2011 at 01:32 PM. |

Wash it, dry it by driving it, put in Stabil, pull it into the garage, attach the Schunacher battery tender and put on my cheap Wallmart cover. I do not touch it until spring. I do the same with my Harley. Winter means my 2001 Buick Century.

I can say the same thing for Texas. Might be a few days that are horrible and would not risk it

If you're like me and only drive the car 3500 miles/year or so because you've got a 2nd vehicle, it's nice because it means every time I go to start it up, the car doesn't go into charge-mode which is pretty hard on the alternator to always have to keep up with a low battery. |
