I was really planning on getting it due to the trees. I wash it by hand once a week usually (as long as the water won't freeze on the car) and detail it fairly often, but sap can still be killer.

I've had my Camaro since January '10 and run a California Duster over it before covering and I've never scratched it. You'll be fine.
