What about when a certain 23 year old gets a s-class benz for $120,000. Not a status symbol?

That certain 23 year olds reality is so far removed from the majority of the nation/world that the percentage is statistically insignicant.

It will impress some, disgust some, and some won’t care either way – just depends on who you are. It may certainly suggest a ‘status’, but again, that can be considered a good and bad thing.

I hope GM looks at what it cost to just to bring the car alive and not get into the hype and limited production to base the price. If they make a profit and it provides us the buyer with a great car then it's win all around. I just don't want GM to price the car out of the reach of a lot of people that could buy it if it's relative to what it cost to develope. I would like to see it around $51 to $53.5k

I'll tell you what, if GM wants to charge 55k or above for this car they better give it a BMW interior because the auto rags and websites are gonna give em hell for that cheap ass interior. For gods sake, don't make this car out to be what it isn't, it's just a Camaro and there's no way it's worth a penny over 50k.

At this price point there is going to be trade offs... Sure the BMW interior is nicer in the M3 but the performance numbers are lower than the ZL1's.

This is what I was trying to say; at least pretty close. I'm sure my idea of the kind of buyer who would spend that kind' money I would think probably wouldn't sit in many Chevys and favorably compare them to the other brands and cars, like the M3, for example. Me? I wouldn't hardly care, but that's because I'm a nut. Trying to get buyer to come over is going to be a tough sell, and I'm not sure they can really lean on the performance that much to make them feel like they're getting what they're expecting.

If you want performance and exquisite interior you are getting into more expensive cars!
