Would rather wait on the Z28 than anything else.

GM PERFORMANCE PARTS ANNOUNCES IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY AND PRICING FOR LS9 CRATE ENGINE

GRAND BLANC, Mich. – GM Performance Parts (GMPP) announced today that the new LS9 crate engine is available for immediate ordering – earlier than previously announced. It will carry a MSRP of $35,715.
Not at the production level it wouldn't...add about $15K for the blower, titanium parts, dry oil sump, and to beef up the drive line. "Build it and they will come!"

The price to build the supercharged motor is no doubt cheaper then the LS7. Do the math, Ford did cheaper to supercharge it then to throw better parts in it... Come on GM build it.

The parts all ready thrown at the Camaro already shows whats to come. Big brakes, generic (cheaper version) independent rear from the ZR1. The CTS-V doesnt have to many trick parts...go look for yourself. Way cheaper then the LS7 to produce.

All speculation but..... seems a little more likely than a LS9

"A new hood features a large, forward-facing scoop. Underneath is the 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V-8 that also powers the Cadillac CTS-V. As we have already confirmed, this is quite a powerplant, delivering 556 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 551 pound-feet of torque at 3800 rpm. The Z/28 will also share the CTS-Vs six speed manual and automatic transmissions."

A supercharger should not be on a Z28. That is just wrong. A Z should be ALL motor!!

All motor means more money to produce, why do you think the ZR1 is supercharged.. easy way to make big power cheaper then displacement.....

I don't care about that. A supercharger in a Z28 is blasphemous.

Think we need a merge.

I for one just hope GM makes it through this crisis, and then maybe then they can put a Z out there for the public. 1st things 1st though!

Much rather see a 525hp LS7 than the s/c motor in a Camaro!

Thats a whole different subject... If any of us got ourselves into there situation would the government bail our asses out. (I think not) Dont feel bad for GM feel bad for the people that work for GM and how the greed at top, lies, steals, and rapes the general public on a daily basis.
