Anyone Done/Doing P90X, Insanity, or any other BB workouts? Shakeology?
Just wondering if anyone here does or has done any of these workouts?
Does anyone use Shakeology or the P90x Recovery/Protein products? Just wondering what your thoughts are on them and what your experiences have been if you have used or are using them.

P90x works if you can stick with it. Most people can not and it is a waste of money as anything if you do not use it. I prefer the gym and have gotten my wife into it.

Have you done P90x yourself? You got your wife into the gym or P90x?

What makes it hard for you to stick to? Anything else you noticed about the way Shakeology made you feel?

She started P90x but did not stick with it long, got her more hooked in the gym and I train her now and she has lost more weight and looks better IMO. I am sure P90 would have done the same thing but most people lack sticking with a program. It is also more than 90 days it is a life style change.

I did P90x for awhile. Got half way though the program before I had to stop because of work, I no longer had the time to work out. The program does work as long as you can find the hour a day to do the program.
For shakeology, I couldn't stand the taste. That stuff absolutely tasted horrible. Tried it once and turned around and sold the rest. The recovery drink tastes great, I love this stuff. It tastes like the old fashion Cream Cicle ice cream I use to eat as a kid not to mention it 100% works as advertised. |

In terms of supplements, I feel like they are for losers. All you need is some Whey Protein with bananas and peanut butter, for example. I've never cared for shakeology. EDIT: Sorry, you did not mention supplements. I have not tried the recovery formula, but I've heard that it is nice and it does work. Also, for protein bars I picked up met-rx, so I can not help you in that area either. If you have any questions regarding the program itself, feel free to ask. |

Agreed, the majority of folks do not understand that the majority of your results are made in the kitchen. I think programs like p90x, turbofire, insanity give you a jump start to make that lifestyle change. Would you agree?

I have been through p90x and insanity, and actually just decided to sign up and become a coach, mainly for the discount on their products. Im a firm believer in the programs as ive seen the results myself. Im trying to decide if im going to invest any time in backing this company and its products. I am a Paramedic on a 9-1-1 ambulance and see alot of sick and unhealthy people. I got in this business to help people, plain and simple. But i strongly feel that the public needs preventative maintenance. Much like firefighters have all their building codes/ smoke detector codes and such to prevent damage or injury, i want to be able to use these tools to prevent Heart disease, diabetes.. etc Obesity is a plague and its killing the nation, and now its reached kids.... Horrible What im trying to do now is get end user feedback and see what you guys think or have to say about these products

Keeping and watching your diet is key Consistence in the gym is key Our society is very lazy even with kids now a days. It is sad and now starting to affect the younger generation. I train people every now and then in the gym since I like to train people. Gym is a big part of my life since I work out about 1-2hrs a day 7 days a week. |

I run a couple times/week, lift weights 1x/week then try to throw in a Spartacus workout every so often. It's a great way to get your a$$ kicked and mix it up a tad. Google it.
That's all my old bod can take...

I did p90x underway a few times. i ended up just adapting a bunch of the exercises into my core workout. I usually do my core workout at the end of lifting. If I don't do core, I go for a run or swim.
As mentioned above, programs like p90x are excellent by themselves if you stick to them---but you HAVE to stick to them. Wish I wasnt sick right now, lol... It's been 3 days since I was in the gym. *tear* |

i've been doing P90x for a long time! its a great program, but "YOU HAVE TO STICK TO THE DIET"! that goes about the same for anything. the diet is the most important thing. now as far as the workouts, yah they are hard at the beginning and do get old very fast, but you have to stick with it. i for one prefer the gym, but P90x is just to easy to do since it can be done in the comfort of your home. its also easier to do it with a partner, helps you stay motivated. P90x is for sure a great workout, and i think you should give it a try. let me know if you have any questions.
