wouldn't my AFR be showing that i'm running too fat? i'm at 11.5.

lol, glad everything worked out for you, and it was a simple "fix". i knew it couldn't have been the headers causing that.

I havent heard enough of a difference in any of the exhausts on these, That I would discriminate one from another. They all sound like a v6. To me, the sound changes when you go to shorty headers, and even more so the long tubes. All still sound like a v6, but they start a deeper, throatier v6 sound with tubes. Im sure ive made more than a few people jump in their cars since yesterday... These things sre loud.

I guess it would depend on how fast its sample cycle was. I know when i started a couple of these bump ups in shot size. I would start way fatter than suggested to be safe. Then work my way down by 2f till it wasnt sluggish, and it would surge on me a bit every time. i think ive ordered 25 jets from zex. They are only three bucks apiece, so i order 4 or 5 so im not taking such a hit on shipping. The only other thing i could see would be a bad zex module. But that would be fairly easy to diagnose by just pulling the elbow with your shark tip in it, arming the system and mashing the gas. if the system sees the bottle pressure is good, it will spray, and youll now right now! i would do that into a bucket so you not spraying everywhere. Ive done this myself when it was first installed, and figured out my lines were backwards.

i'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. lol

I talked to Vince today, and he said he hasn't even looked at my data log yet. So i'll see if he can tweak anything. My shop connected his laptop to my car and had a program that showed all sorts of things. One was the ignition timing. it would go up to the 30's, then drop down by 20 something and back up, and back down. What my shop does, is go WOT, but only to about 5k rpm to see if the AFR is ok to go all the way.

Well, my thought is, if your to fat, or lean for that matter, then your computer is trying to overcompensate, giving you the surge. Once you get closer to the correct combination, then the computer isnt compensating as much, and it smooths out. If you do the bucket thing i was descibing( and youll need a buddy to mash the gas so you can watch the spray) then you will see if the surge is from your solenoid. you will physically see the spray. Sucks to waste the nitrous, but gives you an idea, what the spray is doing from the nozzle. You would here pressure surging, without dumping the spray into your manifold. You dont even start the car. Just something to help troubleshoot.

Haha, sorry! ive always been kindof a redneck mechanically. Its always served me well, since ive worked with high speed machinery, and in a refinery.

Not yet I am going to try and get a group buy going and see if I can get a vendor on board to get a discount price on them.
