If you are trying to keep your warranty then you might as well stick to decals

Once you bolt anything on you are basically voiding your warranty. This is where you pay to play and why you choose mods that come from reputable companies with a proven track record. Also the same goes for shops.

Bottom line is..it is up to you.

I checked with my dealer before putting on my exhaust system. It will not void the warranty.. Now if you put a cam in, this will. I have a 100,000 mile engine/transmission warranty.

any exhaust which is not cat back will not pass the visual inspection in smog.. I dont have to smog mine till 2015 and I kept all my original parts to put back on when its time. It will be around 200.00 to do it but the enjoyment Im getting from my new system warrants it.

I am not a big believer in a new cam anyway. The engine soumds great at an idle with my system. My next project will be some suspension work. After looking at the quality of the stock pieces and the quality of the aftermarket pieces Im going to upgrade.

The Borla system is to "Crackling" sounding for me. I am so very pleased with my sound as are several of my Camaro buddies.

For intakes I would go Cold Air Inductions all the way. But like CamaRoot said it's all up to you. You gotta pay to play.

This is true. And if I were to change up exhaust, while I could change it back, that's just more time and money and the idea of doing that every time it's due for maintenance is silly unless I start doing maintenance myself. Which would be fine if I had a little more time to actually DO that.

But yah, you're right. You definitely pay to play!!! I've been lucky so far with being a girl and having lots of friends that race and thus been able to get my fix without having to pay too much. I'd definitely only be going for shops and products from reputable peeps.
