With TQ converter and mods to even the gears (stock for stock auto has lower gear ratios) and HP out, the auto will run pretty consistent and usually average manual driver times will vary..
Auto does make a good drag car but manual is more fun and some bragging right to run a good time in a high power one... Still debating if the clutchless shifting manuals (dog gears, or face platting) still counts for bragging about good time in a manual.
What has been the fastest manual time that used the clutch? 10.2?

Well, the time has come to start chipping the stone away on a new class. EVIL RS recently underwent some modifications, and she's now entered into the Bolt-On's *with* Internal Engine Modifications" class.

Car/Engine: 2SS/RS
Top Ten Class: Internal Engine Mods plus Bolt-Ons
Tires used on the pass: Mickey Thompson 305/45/R18 rear; Pirelli 225/60R18 fronts; C5 18" Rims (10.5" rear; 9.5" fronts chopped to 5" skinny's)
Performance Mods (if any): LPE417 w/forged internals, LPE GT11 Cam, Yank 2800 Stall, ADM Race Air Intake, LPE Ported Intake, Ported Throttle Body, Kim Barr Heads, ARH 1 7/8" Headers, MagnaFlow 3" Exhaust, LPE Flanges for Header/Exhaust Connection, RPM Performance 6L80E Transmission, ADM Transmission Cooler, 3:45 Gears, BMR Lower Control Arms, ADM 160 Degree Thermostat, Hurst Line Lock, ADM Dual Fuel Pump System, E-85 Fuel Conversion, ADM High Performance Dyno Tune

Weather conditions: beautiful weather! low 70's w/clear skies and cool air.

Brief Comments: I asked Andy to quietly execute this build, in the off hours and weekends, with the intention of building the ultimate sleeper for the LSX Event in Indianapolis, Indiana. Not only did Andy accommodate my eccentricities, he did a phenomenal job. The car looks stock. The car drives stock. The car idles smooth. The sound is perfect - quiet but throaty at idle, scary and awesome at WOT. The car is perfect. The car has been in two car shows since the build, and took best in class both times. And, the car averaged 14.8 mpg driving to the track last night, running at 2200 rpm in 6th gear at about 65mph, and ran the best times of the cars life when I got there. Be careful what you ask for, when you pull up along side the EVIL RS. This car is now the ultimate sleeper.

500 to the wheels all motor is doable. My 416 made 500 to the wheels. I just never got ht tranny to shift a clean 1-2.
