Nitto Invo 315's on 10" wheel
Anyone have pics of Invo 315's on a 10" wheel? I'm considering the Nurburgring 9" and 10" wheels but want to go with Nitto Invos 275 front and 315 rears! I just want to know if there would be an issue with the 315's being buldgy on the 10" wheels. I read somewhere that the Invos come a little narrower than other 315's. Any help would be appreciated!

315 minimum safe recommended wheel width is typically 10.5 inches. Also, the Nurburgring has very aggressive offsets and anything wider than a 295 tire on that particular rear wheel will stick out past the fender lip.

I honestly don't know why so many people insist on NOT following the manufacturer's recommendations. You are only causing unnecessary wear and damage to an already expensive tire. 10.5" minimum for this tire.

That's exactly why I'm asking the question. I don't want to exceed specs! So to use 315's on the rear I need 10.5 or 11's correct?

Yes, the 315/35R20 Nitto Invo requires a 10.5" wheel minimum. But you may be able to find another 315 tire out there that will fit on a 10" wheel, it really depends on the manufacturer. But yes, generally, "most" manufacturer's do recommend at least a 10.5" wheel.

I would agree. I have the Nurburgrings and with their offset I feel the 295 would work best... maybe a 305 depending on the brand. I think with that offset they will stick out if you do the 315.

I am currently running the stock tires. I have the 9 inch tsw up front and the 10 in the rear. I am using the stock tire set up. 245 up front and 275 out back. If I go with a nitto, I will probably do a 305 555r and more the 275 up front. If I go Nitto invos in spring I will probably find a 295 for the rear and maybe a 265 for up front. I'm not exactly sure what the invo sizes are. With the nurburg offset I would stay away froma 315... I dont car what people are doing on a 10 inch wheel. The nurburg offset is to aggressive especially if you want to lower. JUst my two cents.
