16 And Seeing to Buy Camaro

I'm a Junior in High School and I'm seeing to buy a Camaro 2LT Summit White next August. It's priced at $33,670 (MSRP). I'm hoping to get it at around 30-31k after invoice. I have saved up $18,000 so that leaves 13,000 I want to pay off in 4 years.
My parents have very good credit and I can get the Good Student discount for mortgage and insurance.
Any tips? Or should I save the money for something else? (Not tuition, I have plans for that.)

camaros are toys, not the best for an everyday driver, although alot do it. just being a camaro even if it is not the most expensive car in the lot, it will get picked on. if you have that much money, just keep it saved. pay cash for a car like everyone else would buy, a jeep or something. buy a camaro when you are out of college.

maybe invest in a tutor lol

the invoice is a set price from gm as is the msrp.
you probably will not get any new car below invoice nowadays dont plan on the impossible

Asking if you should by something else on this forum is not going to get you the smartest responses. You will be hammered until you buy a 2SS even if you don't want one.
The 1SS is about the same price as the 2LT. Get what makes sense to you and your path.

it's your money do what makes you happy many people will tell you save your money or do something else remember you will be making the payments not us.

Not sure what school you are going to but most do allow it as for a daily driver my

UofM is the school I want to go to. Not sure if they had a car policy. I just assumed.
While I understand it's my decision, I would like some pros and cons, I'm really on the fence about this.

30k sounds like a bit much for a 2LT, if I were you I would find a used 2010-11 Camaro 2LT in the low 20s so you can pay most of it off with the 18k you have saved. If your heart isn't set on a 5th gen Camaro maybe look at something in the 18k range like a 06 Pontiac GTO or a C5 Vette and save yourself from the burden of car payments

A used 2010 can be had for $20-$25k. You're also most there!
