Guys,
I'll scan in my timeslip tomorrow (been travelling for work!) but I ran at Pony Wars in Valdosta 2 weeks ago. Kinda dissapointed in my times - best I could run was a 14.5 @ 98mph. When I upload the slip I'll include all the details so you can let me know how I can improve (getting smaller wheels out back is a start!) Only performance mods I have is MRT V2, Airaid V2 intake, and a lot of wheel hop...

I just got done helping someone else thru countless PM's to help them the next time out at the track. I am no expert but I certainly ask plenty of questions and read plenty of information.

I got to post the picture my friend took while behind my car on the staring line, but the dotted tire marks and shaking car would suggest wheel hop...
I'll get all the info up soon (I hope) - I forgot the slip at home today

I haven't been to the track in a year and that was with a few less mods. Anyway, I've always been told by the V6 community to run with TC ON. Is this not the case? I'll be heading to the track this Friday.

That is true TC on. However, I would think if you have the proper tires to hook up with you should be able to leave the TC off and get a better launch. This way you're getting everything the engine has to offer to the ground. I should know after Sunday, as I now have my drag radials and want to see what that does for traction. All though with all that said, I know one of our original founders for V6 power (scrming) always ran with TC on and he had the same drag radials I am running. I shall see soon enough.

I run at PBIR with both TC and ST off. It just depends on the track prep. The OE tires need heat though!

I've ran with TC on and off, with DRs, my 19" all season stock tires and Goodyear summer tires.
If any of the tires broke lose with TC off I couldn't recover fast enough and it was a wasted run. My best 60' (1.980) was with the Goodyear summer tires with TC on and the temp was 37* that day with the sun shining. After 3 runs, the sun went away and everyone struggled hooking up. It seemed with the sun out, it heated the track up just enough.

So sounds like TC ON on is a good idea. I always thought that was the case but wasn't sure what everyone else was doing. I was just doing it for a safety thing more than anything. Also what DR's do you guys suggest? By buddy got new wheels on his Corvette and if the stock Corvette wheels fit on the Camaro I'm going to buy some DR's for them.
