you've seen me go off on people, trust me, it sucks to just sit back and let things go sometimes when people just refuse to see things from any perspective of their own. I'm glad I was busy at work tonight, it took my mind off things enough to allow me to cool down and think clearly about my posts.

We are growing fast and lots of people are coming here for information. This is still the best place for Camaro information and I would hate to see it turn into a bad place. Anyway, I was just stewing on this all night and wanted to post and get your thoughts.

Hi Pete. Your post says it all. You put a lot of thought into it and care about other people. What you're seeing out there is greedy selfish impatient people who don't take the time to figure things out. They don't want to work for it, or even take a minute to search for the answer. They want instant gratification even at the expense of others. They don't take the time to understand things for instance the process to bring a car to market. They want what they want, make assumptions, jump to conclusions, and they don't give a isht.

There in lies the problem for people like us. Sooner or later we get sick of the ignorance and stop caring for a while. Sometimes we even get sucked into the vortex of hate and we start hating too. And then we step back.

Take a deep breath and relax. I don't want to be like that and there is no place in my life for that bs. In fact that's why I spend most of my time in here. I come here to relax, escape real life bs, and learn more about the car I'm about drive. This site is very cool despite the recent invasion and I love spending time searching for things I want to learn. Right now it's spray and cut outs. But that can only happen when those that know share. I have learned more about this car (and cars in general) on this site than I will ever learn anywhere else.



So join with me and my glass of... um... coffee, F the arm chair critics, and say "ahhhhh, soon I'll be driving a very bad ass Camaro."

RT keep in mind that what you type doesn't always convey what you feel or mean to say. A smilie will never substitute tone in your voice or body language. I've met you and had a good aftenoon talking with you and the others. I found you to be interesting and to be genuinely nice guy. I ask that you be patient with those that are making you feel like a noob. Many people like to show how much they know and sometimes that comes off poorly. What I have enjoyed about Camari5 is the passion of the members for this car, and you sir are equal in my eyes to all the others here waiting for their own 2010 Camaro.

Also as far as humor......I post stuff all the time that just cracks me up but no one picks up on it every time.

Anyway, people join this site for a variety of reasons. One of the biggies is because they know we have a lot of information. Another is because we are generally respectful and nice. So imagine the shock when a new member gets torn a new one for asking a question?

For the non-stop complaining (it doesn't really matter what) or 'sky is falling' threads, all you have to do is figure out a way to kindly say "Look, you know nothing and your fears are groundless" and it will calm down the thread (remember to word it kindly though ... otherwise it gets messy real quick)

If people still don't listen to reason, PM a mod thats online and let them know about the thread. If none of us are around, report the thread.
